Ingredients

Scale

Herb-Butter Roasted Turkey

  • 1 whole turkey (1214 lbs), thawed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 1 onion, quartered

Maple-Glazed Sweet Potato Stacks

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Cranberry Brie Bites

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 6 oz brie cheese, cubed
  • Fresh thyme leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. For the turkey, mix butter, olive oil, herbs, garlic, salt, and pepper. Rub under and over the turkey skin. Stuff cavity with lemon and onion. Roast for 3–3½ hours or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest before carving.
  3. For sweet potato stacks, layer slices in muffin tins, brushing each with butter and maple syrup mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon and salt. Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes until golden and tender.
  4. For cranberry brie bites, cut puff pastry into small squares, press into mini muffin tins, add a cube of brie, top with cranberry sauce, and bake at 375°F for 15–18 minutes. Garnish with thyme.
  5. Serve all dishes together for a stunning, flavor-packed Thanksgiving spread.

Notes

  • Make-ahead tip: Prep puff pastry bites and cranberry sauce a day in advance; assemble and bake just before serving.
  • Use a meat thermometer: Turkey is safe to eat when the thickest part reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the turkey rest 20–30 minutes before carving to retain juices.
  • Leftovers can be repurposed into sandwiches or turkey pot pie.
  • Rotate pans halfway through roasting for even browning.
