Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Mix in sour cream and strawberry milk until smooth.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in chopped strawberries.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cake cool in pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, strawberry milk, and crushed freeze-dried strawberries until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake and let set before slicing.

Notes

  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days; bring to room temperature before serving.
  • Glaze will set as it sits; you can add extra crushed freeze-dried strawberries for more color and strawberry flavor.
