- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm milk
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 egg
- ½ cup strawberry jam
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp strawberry puree
- 1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
- Roll dough into a rectangle and spread strawberry jam evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly into a log and slice into rolls.
- Place in a greased baking dish and let rise again briefly.
- Bake at 180°C until golden and cooked through.
- Mix powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and milk to form frosting. Drizzle over warm rolls and serve.
Notes
- Uses instant yeast for a quicker rise.
- Let dough rise until doubled in size for best texture.
- Chill the rolled dough for about 1 hour to make slicing easier (optional).
- If needed, adjust frosting consistency with a little more milk.
