  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 5/8 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. In a bowl, combine warm water and yeast, letting it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. 3. Add the yeast mixture and egg, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. 5. Roll out the dough, spread softened butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  6. 6. Add chopped strawberries, roll tightly, and cut into rolls.
