- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- ¾ lb sliced roasted turkey breast (halal)
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or mild cheddar cheese
- 1 cup warm béchamel sauce or thick cream sauce
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom layer in a baking dish.
- Layer turkey slices evenly over the rolls, then sprinkle with chopped turkey bacon.
- Pour béchamel sauce evenly over the turkey and bacon.
- Add shredded cheese, then place the top half of rolls on.
- Brush tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 8–10 minutes until golden and melty.
- Garnish with parsley, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Make ahead: assemble up to the sauce and cheese, cover and refrigerate overnight, bake as directed.
- For extra creaminess, use a richer béchamel or add a splash of cream to sauce.
- To keep the dish Halal, ensure turkey and bacon are Halal-certified and avoid cross-contamination.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for 2–3 days; reheat in a 350°F oven until warm.
