- 2 cups cooked chicken, sliced or shredded
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and halved
- 12 slices Swiss, Gouda, or cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the dish.
- Layer chicken evenly over the buns.
- Add turkey bacon pieces on top of the chicken.
- Place cheese slices evenly over the bacon.
- Add the top halves of the buns.
- In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, melted butter, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Brush the maple glaze generously over the tops of the buns.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden and sticky.
- Slice and serve warm.
