Description

Garlic Butter Steak Bites – a 30-minute, restaurant-quality main course featuring tender sirloin or ribeye steak bites in a garlicky butter sauce, finished with a rich Parmesan cream sauce for a delectable weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (or fresh, chopped)
  • Parmesan Cream Sauce:
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter and garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, then return steak bites to the pan. Toss to coat in garlic butter and sprinkle with parsley.
  4. For the Parmesan cream sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Serve steak bites drizzled with warm Parmesan cream sauce or on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan; sear in batches to maximize browning.
  • Use a heavy skillet (preferably cast iron) to achieve a good sear.
  • You can adjust the garlic quantity to taste or add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently in a skillet.
  • Garnish with extra parsley or grated Parmesan for a finished look.
