Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils, rinsed
  • 1½ cups water
  • ½ tsp ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Soak red lentils in water for at least 2 hours or overnight, then drain.
  2. Add soaked lentils, fresh water, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, and pepper to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  3. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with olive oil.
  4. Pour about ¼ cup batter into the skillet and spread gently into a pancake.
