Instructions

- In another bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, vanilla, and milk, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until combined. Fold in optional add-ins if using.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing cookies apart.
- Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers are soft.
- Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.
