  • lbs beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt, or to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1½ cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • Optional topping: sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a casserole dish.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook sliced beef for 3–4 minutes until just browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté bell peppers and onion for 4–5 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  4. Return beef to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  6. Transfer mixture to the prepared casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  8. Let rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish if desired.
