Description

Crispy Air Fryer Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders – Golden, juicy chicken tenders coated in a glossy honey butter garlic glaze with a crispy breadcrumb crust. This air fryer version delivers the same comforting flavors with less oil, perfect for weeknights and entertaining.


Ingredients

  • 600 g chicken tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil spray
  • 3 tbsp butter for glaze
  • 2 tbsp honey for glaze
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced for glaze
  • Pinch of salt for glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 190°C.
  2. Set up a dredging station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in the third.
  3. Coat each chicken tender in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Lightly spray with olive oil and arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry until golden and cooked through, flipping halfway if needed.
  6. In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in honey, garlic, and salt. Simmer briefly until fragrant.
  7. Brush the warm honey butter garlic glaze over crispy tenders and serve immediately.
