- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook for 3–4 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- In a large bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add shredded chicken, sautéed onion mixture, and cooked spaghetti. Toss until well coated.
- Stir in half of the cheddar and half of the mozzarella.
- Transfer mixture to the baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with parsley before serving warm.
Notes
- Make-ahead: Prepare through step 6, refrigerate up to 24 hours, then bake as directed (add 5–10 minutes to baking time).
- Leftovers store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–4 days. Reheat in the oven until bubbly.
- for a lighter version, substitute a light sour cream or plain Greek yogurt and reduce the cheese slightly.
- To keep this gluten-containing dish, use regular spaghetti. For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free spaghetti.
