  • 1 lb halal turkey breakfast sausage
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cups herbed stuffing mix (dry)
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook the halal turkey sausage and onion over medium heat until browned. Remove from heat.
  3. Add stuffing mix and cranberries to the baking dish. Top with the cooked sausage and onions.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the stuffing.
  6. Sprinkle cheese on top and drizzle melted butter.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes until set and golden.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
