Cowboy Sliders are bold, cheesy mini burgers loaded with seasoned ground beef, jalapeños, crispy turkey bacon, and melty cheese on soft Hawaiian buns, brushed with rich cowboy butter for an indulgent, crowd-pleasing appetizer.

- 12 Hawaiian slider buns
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
- 1–2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
- For the cowboy butter:
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Slice Hawaiian buns in half horizontally and place bottom halves in the baking dish.
- Spread cooked beef evenly over the buns.
- Sprinkle turkey bacon, jalapeño slices, and shredded cheese evenly on top.
- Place top buns over the filling.
- In a bowl, mix all cowboy butter ingredients.
- Brush cowboy butter generously over the tops of the buns.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden and melty.
- Rest 5 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Customize heat by adjusting the jalapeños or using fresh pepper slices.
- For a lighter version, use turkey burgers instead of beef patties and reduced-fat cheese.
- Make-ahead tip: assemble sliders, cover, and refrigerate up to 2 hours before baking.
- Leftovers refrigerate well for up to 2 days; reheat in the oven until melty.
