Description

Christmas Morning Turkey Bacon, Egg and Cheese Bake is a festive, crowd-pleasing holiday breakfast casserole featuring fluffy eggs, flaky biscuit layers, melty cheddar and mozzarella, and crispy halal turkey bacon. Perfect for feeding a crowd on Christmas morning and making for a memorable breakfast tradition.

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 slices halal turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters and spread them evenly in the dish.
  3. Sprinkle chopped halal turkey bacon over the biscuit pieces.
  4. Add cheddar and mozzarella cheese across the top.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the biscuits, bacon, and cheese.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden on top and the eggs are set.
  8. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Add sliced green onions if desired.

Notes

  • Can be assembled the night before and refrigerated; bake longer (45–50 minutes) if chilling before baking.
  • Use regular bacon if halal bacon isn’t available, but turkey bacon keeps it lighter.
  • Leftovers refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
  • For extra richness, add a splash of milk or half-and-half to the egg mixture.
