- 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- ¼ cup reserved pasta water
- Optional: grated Parmesan for serving
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package directions. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Season the chicken with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
- In the same pot used for noodles, melt the butter over low heat. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.
- Toss in the cooked noodles with the butter mixture, adding a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen.
- Stir in fresh parsley and adjust seasoning.
- Serve the buttery noodles topped with the cooked chicken. Add Parmesan if desired.
