Description

Breakfast Rolls: Deliver 8-ingredient delicious bites with soft, cheesy, and savory flavors. These easy breakfast rolls come together quickly using crescent dough, eggs, cheddar cheese, and halal turkey bacon—perfect for busy mornings, weekend brunch, or meal prep and cleanup-friendly breakfasts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough or biscuit dough
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked halal turkey bacon or turkey sausage, crumbled
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: extra cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin pan or baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble lightly in a skillet until just set.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and cut into rectangles; place each piece into a muffin cup or roll tightly into log-style rolls.
  4. Fill each with scrambled eggs, turkey bacon or sausage, cheddar cheese, and green onions.
  5. Roll or fold dough to seal the filling.
  6. Top with a bit of extra cheese if desired.
  7. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and fluffy.
  8. Cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a gluten-free version, substitute with a gluten-free dough that can be rolled and shaped similarly.
  • To keep the dish halal-friendly, use halal-certified turkey bacon or sausage and ensure all ingredients meet halal guidelines.
  • Prepare ahead: assemble the rolls and refrigerate them before baking for a quick weekday breakfast.
  • Want extra richness? Use a blend of cheddar with a little mozzarella or pepper jack.
  • Leftovers store well in the fridge for 2–3 days and reheat in the oven for best texture.
