Bang Bang Salmon Bites Bowls: Crispy salmon bites glazed in a creamy sweet-heat bang bang sauce, served over fluffy rice with fresh carrots, cucumber, and avocado for a bold, satisfying, and quick dinner or meal-prep bowl.

Ingredients

Scale
  • lbs salmon, skin removed and cut into bite-size cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce (halal-friendly)
  • 12 tbsp sriracha or chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 3 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or jasmine)
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Optional garnish: green onions or sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Toss salmon cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet or air fryer to medium-high heat. Cook salmon 6–8 minutes, turning until crispy and cooked through.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey until smooth.
  4. Toss cooked salmon gently with half of the bang bang sauce.
  5. Assemble bowls with rice, veggies, and salmon bites.
  6. Drizzle remaining sauce over the top and garnish if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, finish the salmon in a hot pan or air fryer until edges are golden and crisp.
  • Adjust the heat by varying the amount of sriracha in the bang bang sauce.
  • Halal-friendly note: salmon and the sauce are suitable, but always check individual ingredients if needed.
  • Meal prep friendly: keep sauce separate and assemble bowls when ready to eat to maintain texture.
